Our Story
Quality Home based Child Care
Homebusybodies follows a student-centered learning approach, placing students at the heart of each lesson and activity. Daily opportunities for collaboration with teachers and peers are provided, ensuring active engagement. Students gain essential foundational skills and diverse learning experiences in Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Homebusybodies Preschool is a Play-Based program. We believe that children really do learn best through hands on experiences. Discovery Play Preschool believes learning should be fun and engaging. We will focus on growing the whole child through social, emotional, music, cognitive, literacy, creativity, science, numbers and much more...

Our Standards
Research shows that 90 percent of a child's brain develops in the first five years of life. We strive to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum and engage in practices that target the five developmental domains in early learning.
Physical Development - We involve your child in fun ways to practice their fine and gross motor skills.
Approaches to Learning - Our focus is on developing and enhancing your child's eagerness to learn by incorporating activities that encourage curiosity, persistence, and creative problem solving.
Social & Emotional Development - Our approach is to establish a consistent and predictable learning environment that incorporates character development and life skills to support children in becoming self-regulated and responsible for their learning.
Language, Communication, & Emergent Literacy - We target listening and understanding, speaking, vocabulary, sentences and structure as well as emergent reading and writing to develop your child's literacy skills and foster a love of reading.
Cognitive Development and General Knowledge - We stimulate creative thinking and imagination by incorporating exploration, discovery, memory formation, reasoning, creative expression at the forefront of all learning.
